We're looking for a Project Manager to oversee a program of small to moderate transmission and substation projects for our established client. You'll manage all aspects—engineering, permitting, construction, and capitalization—for multiple concurrent high-voltage overhead transmission lines, substations, and communication equipment improvement projects.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you'll be responsible for cost management, on-time project completion, and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects end-to-end: development, construction, and closeout (including siting, permitting, engineering, ROW acquisition, controls, procurement, and construction management).
• Ensure clear communication between project sites, offices, and clients.
• Drive project schedules and manage scope effectively.
• Maintain accurate project cost forecasts.
• Develop and implement project policies, procedures, and execution plans.
• Collaborate with the Project Team to ensure client satisfaction.
• Report regularly to the Lead Project Manager on progress, costs, schedules, procurement, safety, environmental issues, and design questions.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, plus 7+ years of progressive experience, including the construction phase.
• Technical Skills: Detailed knowledge of substations and transmission lines. Working knowledge of Primavera P6, cost management, change control, and risk management. Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Abilities: Strong analytical, reporting, presentation, and contract analysis skills. Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines, manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license required. PMP certification is a plus.
• Approximately 10% travel via car.
